Today our trusty Garmin says we have cycled 165km and climbed 2147m. After a slack day yesterday we have ticked off a further 6 cols, bringing our total so far up to 12. In marked contrast to the previous two days it hasn't rained on us once, which has been very nice.
Once more the route has been lovely, starting out amongst the vines near Beaune and passing through a mix of farmland (mostly grazing land today) and forestry. The roads have been mixed and interesting. The last decent down to our accommodation (which, incidentally, took a major effort to find) was on a good dry road with some nice curves - great fun on the tandem 😃
We are resting up at Lamure-sur-Azergues.
