Aha, so that's what the Pyrynes look like!

Our hotel last night - chacterfull place

Who's that old fart next to Steve.... Oh yes, that's me 😃

A very kind family fed and watered us - again 😃

Tshsh... i wanted to capture the steam coming off the disc but my coordination wasn't good enough 😃

Finally we get some good views, not that it makes an awful lot of difference to Steve!

Thanks again for all the Justgiving contributions. In case you were struggling to find it there is a link at the foot of this post.

Please feel free to pass this blog / Justgiving page on to anyone you think might be interested (they can always ignore if they aren't).

We have been slacking again - only 107km ridden today and not even that much climbing at 2470m. Part of the problem is splitting the days where we can find accommodation on the run in to Limoux. Two more cycling days will see us to Limoux where we will meet up with Lions Club contacts of Steve's. We had originally planned to arrive a day earlier but when we considered this plan more carefully we realised we were setting ourselves up for just too much climbing.

Today we have ticked off three more significant passes - an enjoyable day of cycling. We screwed up over lunch again, unwittingly ending up low on energy in a bar/restaurant desert at the prescribed time! Once more a very kind family recognised our plight, invited us in and fed and watered us - we really must stop freeloading like this, we are getting the Brits a bad name 😞.

Tonight we are sleeping near Saint Beat.
