We are on our way. At last we can forget about worries about leaving the wrong stuff in the car or carrying something with us which should have been left in the car. We did have a mishap with one item which ended up in the wrong place but Marc, who is looking after the car, very kindly came to the rescue before we left this morning. Anyway, from now on it's just the two of us and the bike - life should hopefully be gloriously uncomplicated.
Today we have ridden 187km and climbed 2533m according to the GPS log. From a quick look at the sheet we reckon we have done 6 cols. The route has been lovely with many km of winding forest roads. The weather has been a bit misly with the odd pesky shower but not too bad. We are resting up at the small town of Bains-les-Bains.
